Skin and bones

She slept
entangled
caught between what she knew
Fight
Buttons fell
Roses grew from the ceiling
She gasped
her lightly glazed lips
blew dry as she exhaled
her skin stretched over her ribcage
sandwiched
I held her sight
"never leave"
The stars shined
porcelain skin

We sat
fortnight time bomb.
